For the second year, Alpe Adria Cinema is hosting a panel dedicated to promoting the event: GO! 2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025 in collaboration with the Department of Culture Friuli Venezia Giulia – Central directorate of culture and sports – Cultural Activities service.
This event aims to facilitate the exchange of best practices, showcase case studies, and feature insights from experts in sustainability and accessibility: a session devoted to engaging discussions, informative training, and the presentation of exemplary cultural initiatives centered around the aforementioned themes.
Five European Capitals of Culture 2023: Esch-Sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), Veszprém – Balaton (Hungary), Timișoara (Romania), Eleusis (Greece) and GO! 2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia are the active participants, sharing their firsthand experiences. The representatives from these capitals give speeches offering an insight into their dedicated efforts and organisational strategies in managing cultural events, with a specific focus on sustainability and accessibility.
Speakers are called upon to share their organisational expertise, to give ideas and to engage in dialogue to educate those present. This collaborative discussion will serve as a starting point for all those working in the cultural sphere, aiming to inspire them to undertake the planning of large-scale events with a conscientious and attentive approach to these issues.
The panel, held in Italian and English, is open to representatives of local and institutional authorities from the entire FVG region and Slovenia, organisers of cultural events, and to the general public.
