After a turbulence, astronaut Debora reawakens in a familiar domestic environment that she hardly recognizes because everything has undergone a metamorphosis. Here she meets two aliens, her Mother and Grandmother, who telepathically tell her about life, sexuality and motherhood.

“The intent of the short documentary Maris B653 is to tell, through an experimental narration, a real, intimate and family experience, in which the socio-cultural bond crosses the lives of three generations of mothers. ‘Maris’ which in the Friulian language means mothers, is also the name to represent the North Star, guide and reference of travelers. ‘653’ are the kilometers that separate Rome, city in which I lived many years, and my home country in the northeast of Italy, where my mother and grandmother still live and where, a few years ago, my motherhood brought me back. In this re-entry, I felt so out of place that I imagined myself as an astronaut exploring a new planet.” (D. Vrizzi)
