SAHAREYA, aka Sarah Al Saleh, 24 years old, is a •rapper •singer •dancer •performer •actress, to quote her Instagram profile.
Sahareya, also known as Sarah Al Saleh, is a 24-year-old Slovenian rapper, singer and dancer with Syrian and Croatian roots. Hip hop has always been an important part of her life, thanks to the influence of her older brother DJ SunnySun, also a rapper. Sarah’s interest in music, however, stems from her passion for dance. She participated in several hip hop dance competitions, studied dance for years, and graduated from the School of Contemporary Dance (SVŠGUGL) in Ljubljana. During her years at the school, Sarah developed her own particular dance style, a mixture of hip hop and contemporary dance isolations. Alongside dance, she also wrote poetry, which evolved into her rap career.
In 2022, Sahareya released his debut album ‘Improvised Colors’ together with his brother, entirely recorded at home, and started to participate in various showcases and festivals throughout Europe. She also joins forces with German producer and musician ZOUJ (Adam Lenox) and his band for a successful European tour, and then sets off with her brother for a tour of India.
Her vision is to create shows that include rap, dance and that relate all the passions she shares with her brother. Although she does not strictly define her musical creation, her genre can be described as hip-hop. Through her music, she is constantly exploring new ways of fusing different atmospheres and genres, such as R&B, trap, rap and electronic music.
