Gladki, a young man, escapes from a hospital. His sister, Lupa, receives his phone call and rushes to help
him. When she finds him unconscious, she decides to assist him in overcoming his heroin addiction by
locking him in a rented room. Lupa does everything she can to make their life in that small space more
pleasant, but refuses help from friends and isolates herself from the outside world. While she appears to be
successful in freeing her brother from the grip of drugs, old memories resurface for Lupa, and some
horrifying secrets could endanger them both…
Selected at the Locarno and Thessaloniki film festivals, among others, Blind Spot had its Italian premiere at
the Trieste FF in 2003.
“No human being can exist without interaction with society, and no society can progress without
acknowledging and considering the fundamental rights and needs of each of its members. This is precisely
what I wanted to express with this film.” (H.A.W. Slak)
