Elise is a promising ballet dancer living in Paris with her boyfriend. However, her perfect life is upended when she catches her boyfriend cheating on her and suffers a careerthreatening injury on stage. The road to physical and emotional recovery takes her to Brittany, where the warmth of her friends and a new love confront her with the possibility of a rebirth. CĂ©dric Klapisch
French film director, screenwriter and producer CĂ©dric Klapisch was born in 1961 in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He studied cinema at the University of Paris III: Sorbonne Nouvelle as well as at the University of Paris VIII. He later attended the film school at New York University from 1983 to 1985. Back in France, he began working in cinema as an electrician before directing the short film Ce qui me meut. He later used this name for the production company he founded. His greatest box-office success is The Spanish Apartment (2002), the first part of a trilogy including Russian Dolls (2005) and Chinese Puzzle (2013).
