In this book, the most representative former players of a completely unique sports movement themselves narrate their origins and careers in the first person. From Boša Tanjević, Praja Dalipagić, Žele Obradović to Toni Kukoč, Saša Danilović, and many others, a narrative unfolds that begins with the reconstruction of the country after World War II and ends with the dissolution of the political and social utopia desired by Marshal Tito. Through a fifty-year period, Yugoslav players go from being semi-professionals to becoming global sports icons, teammates and opponents of authentic legends such as Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson. The author has collected their voices in a series of exclusive narratives that collectively create an unforgettable fresco of history and sports.
