Applications are now officially open for the fifth edition of the Lab of Cultural, Creative and Festival Journalism, which will take place during the Palić Film Festival from July 20 to 25, 2025.
The European Festival Network Moving Images – Open Borders (MIOB), of which the TSFF is a member,is inviting students and recent graduates in cinema, journalism, and related fields to apply for an exclusive opportunity in cinema journalism training. The Journalism Lab is dedicated to cultivate the next generation of cultural journalists, offering free, hands-on training at European film festivals.
This program offers selected participants a unique, cost-free experience: guided, personalized mentorship with leading experts in cultural journalism, combined with immersive, practical experience at top film festivals across Europe.
Up to 6 candidate will be selected to participate to:
ON-SITE TRAINING at
32nd European Film Festival Palić (Serbia): 5 days, 6 nights between 20 – 26 July 2025.
MIOB will cover travel expenses, accommodation and festival accreditation, thanks to the Creative Europe Media Program grant. The selected participants will create content during the festivals, including interviews with film crews and organizational teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Under 32 years old;
- Passion about cinema and culture;
- Be a graduate or enrolled in a university course
- Proficient in written and spoken English;
- Provable experience of cultural articles, especially film-related articles in any format: print, video, audio or online media or other creative form of a daily report or Q&A events.
