In an industrial slaughterhouse in Germany, Jakob works as a security guard while Boris from Bosnia slaughters pigs. Amidst the cold brutality of their surroundings, the two men form a quiet, unspoken bond, united by a shared longing for freedom.

Simon Schneckenburger
Born in the Black Forest, South Germany, Simon Schneckenburger graduated in Fiction Directing from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Skin on Skin is his graduation film: shot in 16mm, it was selected for the Karlovy Vary FF and then for many other international festivals.
