Negli angoli nascosti di Serekunda, in Gambia, mentre si prende cura della figlia Yama e dell’asino Shamu, M. (un raccoglitore di rifiuti proveniente dal Mali) attende notizie della moglie che li ha lasciati alla ricerca di migliori opportunità all’estero. Con il passare dei giorni, la speranza si trasforma quasi in religione, guidando M. a dare prova definitiva della sua fede.

Giovanni C. Lorusso
Giovanni C. Lorusso, born in 1981, is an Italian filmmaker, cinematographer and photographer with a background in literature, philosophy and filmmaking. He has over a decade of work experience as a cinematographer for various productions in Asia, Oceania, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Giovanni is an accredited Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) member and has also published several photography books. His film Song of All Ends was screened at the latest Trieste FF.
