Introduced in 2021, the MIOB in Shorts Award collected nominations of numerous short films from the member festivals of the MIOB network. The 7 festivals participating in the network, including TSFF, selected a shortlist of 12 short films from different countries.
The aim is to attract a wider European audience and to encourage active involvement through an online voting system to determine the winner. To facilitate this democratic process, a dedicated “Watch & Vote” section was launched on the MIOB website, giving viewers the opportunity to enjoy the nominated films for the duration of one month.
The selection highlighted the immense talent and creativity of emerging European filmmakers, providing a platform for recognition and appreciation of their work.
