On Thursday, July 16, the 45th edition of the “Sergio Amidei” International Award for Best Screenplay will kick off at the Kinemax in Gorizia. As is tradition, the festival will open with a matinee dedicated to children.
In collaboration with the Trieste Film Festival, the new episodes of the Hungarian animated series *Peter and His Friends*, restored by the Budapest Film Archive, will be screened. The siblings Peter and Katy, along with the other characters in the series, will guide young viewers on a journey of discovery through the natural world, exploring animals and weather phenomena.
Next, the animated film *Scirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds*, directed by Benoît Chieux, will be screened. This fantasy adventure follows the journey of two sisters through a world populated by extraordinary creatures, where they must find their way home while facing challenges and unexpected encounters.
The screening will be introduced by Alberta Mutti, coordinator of the TSFF dei Piccoli.
