Yugo Logo, a project started in 2019, is a collection of over 600 logos originating from the now-dissolved Yugoslavia. For its stopover in Trieste (the first outside the former territories of the Federal Republic), a curated selection of the most iconic “made in Yu” trademarks will be displayed at Cavò. Alongside this, the exhibition will feature three focus categories: tourism; cinema and theatre, and, finally, a tribute to several Yugoslav women designers.
In recent years, Yugo Logo has travelled to Croatia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, with the aim of celebrating and preserving this once-shared heritage of exceptionally high quality design, innovation, and creativity.

Ognjen Ranković is a Belgrade based graphic designer, born in 1991. He has worked, both independently and as part of a team, on more than 100 commercial projects. In 2019 he founded the yugo.logo research project, a digital and physical archive of logos made in Yugoslavia. He is the author of 2 yugo.logo books (published by Radnja, based in Zagreb), and together with his partners he has curated more than 16 exhibitions across the countries formerly a part of Yugoslavia.

Antonio Karača is a graphic designer born in Požega, but he currently lives and works in Zagreb. He has worked at Parabureau, Fahrenheit / McCann Erickson, Craft, and Radnja. He has received numerous awards, including first prize for visual identity from the Zadar Tourist board in 2018. In addition to his professional work, he is actively involved in teaching graphic and web design, visual identity standards, and design for the music industry.
