On Monday, May 25 at 8:30 p.m., the Casa del Cinema in collaboration with the Trieste Film Festival presents L’estate di Giacomo, a film directed by Alessandro Comodin, at Trieste’s Cinema Ariston.
The story follows Giacomo, an eighteen-year-old boy with hearing problems and awaiting an operation, who meets Stefania, his childhood friend, in a forest near a river. An encounter suspended between freedom and discovery, experienced in an afternoon that seems to stretch out like an entire summer.
After the screening, the director will meet the audience in a masterclass together with Nicoletta Romeo, artistic director of the Trieste Film Festival.
