{"id":3011,"date":"2023-10-01T20:40:22","date_gmt":"2023-10-01T18:40:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/triestefilmfestival.it\/wemw-extends-the-deadline-for-the-co-production-forum-new-deadline-25-october-2023\/"},"modified":"2023-10-19T12:27:38","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T10:27:38","slug":"wemw-extends-the-deadline-for-the-co-production-forum-new-deadline-25-october-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triestefilmfestival.it\/en\/wemw-extends-the-deadline-for-the-co-production-forum-new-deadline-25-october-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"WEMW Extends the Deadline for the Co-production Forum!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to strong interest, the deadline for submissions to the WEMW Co-Production Forum has been extended to allow as many producers as possible to finalise their materials and present their project.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WEMW CO-PRODUCTION FORUM <br\/><\/strong>Open to live-action feature films, creative documentaries and short animation projects.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New deadline: 25 October 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WEMW selects 20 projects in development (live-action feature films, creative documentaries and &#8211; for the first time &#8211; short animation projects) from all over Europe and beyond, in particular from the 2024 East &amp; West spotlight countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Spain, Portugal, Latin America.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/strong><br\/>Producers from Europe*, <em>Latin America**<\/em>, Canada and the United States are eligible to apply. Projects can be live-action feature films, creative documentaries, animated shorts in development\/financing, with preferably 10% of the total production budget already available. Projects must have international co-production potential.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AWARDS<\/strong><br\/>All selected projects will compete for two cash prizes worth \u20ac5,000 each: the Film Center Serbia Development Award and the CICLIC WEMW Award (granted by the Centre-Val de Loire region of France). Thanks to the WEMW partner network, the Co-Production Forum will also feature a number of other important prizes, including the EAVE Producers Workshop scholarship, the brand new Laser Film Post-Production Award, the March\u00e9 du Film Producers Network Badges, the #DocsConnect Taskovski Training Award and the Pop Up Film Residency Award.
