MIOB - MOVING IMAGES OPEN BORDERS<\/h1>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The participation in the European festival network of MIOB (Moving Images Open Borders) together with 6 other European film festivals (Sevilla, Scanorama, Les Arcs, Pali\u0107, Cottbus, Linz-Crossing Europe) is one of the most important international collaborations.<\/p>

Established in 2017, the festival network initiated by Crossing Europe Film Festival acts as a collective of international film festivals with a focus on European film production. The aim is to reinforce collaboration on an artistic, organisational, ethical and technological level in order to establish a long-term, best-practice model for European collaboration.<\/p>

LAB OF CULTURAL, CREATIVE AND FESTIVAL JOURNALISM 2024-2025
<\/span>
Tra le diverse attivit\u00e0 proposte quella che ci vede impegnati maggiormente \u00e8 il Lab of cultural, creative and festival journalism<\/strong>, un progetto dedicato agli studenti e alle studentesse e ai laureati\/laureate in cinema o giornalismo culturale realizzato grazie al sostegno di Europa Creativa.
Il progetto \u00e8 promosso in collaborazione con Scanorama Film Festival (Vilnius), Les Arcs Film Festival e prevede la selezione di 18 studenti\/studentesse che avranno l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di partecipare a:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ONLINE<\/b> TRAINING
<\/span>4 online preparatory sessions with experts\/experts in European cultural journalism (working on: empathetic interviewing, creative criticism, documented article and reportage, digital and audiovisual journalism, press office work, etc.)<\/span><\/p>

TRAINING DURING FESTIVALS<\/b>
<\/span>The idea for the workshop stems from the conviction that quality cinema, the kind we believe in and promote, should be appreciated through analysis, reflection and discussion. Auteur cinema cannot be understood without the aid and guidelines of film criticism and film journalism, as these have systematically contributed to highlighting and understanding the constant changes in the languages, themes and new trends of film art. <\/span><\/p>

Travel, board and accommodation expenses are covered by Creative Europe.<\/span><\/p>

The Trieste Film Festival in its 37th edition will host the third edition of the <\/span>Lab of cultural, creative and festival journalism:<\/b> participants, assisted by a mentor, will attend screenings and events, producing interviews, articles and videos that will enrich the social pages and website of both TSFF and the MIOB network of which we are a part.<\/span><\/p>
