Sonja is a 97-year-old former antifascist fighter who was one of the first female partisans in Yugoslavia and a member of the resistance in Auschwitz. Il film (one of the selected projects at WEMW in 2018), premiered at the Rotterdam IFF in 2021 and was then selected at more than 30 international festivals, including Cinéma du Réel, Sarajevo and Thessaloniki.
